Umm, wait a second. Did he say “deliberate childlessness”?

The neocons think we need to do something about people who choose not have children? No, no, I cannot possibly be reading this right.

My perspective is that not everybody in the world is or would be a good parent, and my hat’s off (as it were) to their self-aware decision not to have kids they aren’t equipped to handle. If you’ll check the population figures and their impact on the planet, you’ll quickly see that we don’t need to do something about “deliberate childlessness.” We need less people having kids. Billions less.
