After months of badgering, I have finally succeeded in talking the esteemed Dr. John Lawrence into joining us here on LiveJournal. John is Professor Emeritus in Philosophy at Morningside College (he now lives in Berkeley) and is a world-renowned expert on the cultural mythologies that we use to define America (for better or worse).
