Ad-avoidance… not likely. Tivo will try to make a buck now that it has a strong market share — where are people going to turn? Plus, it wont matter in the long run. Since more people are using Tivo, studios will start integrating advertizers into the programs themselves. TV studios are all about the bottom line, and they will find a way to subvert or destroy Tivo’s ad-avoidance because the only reason there are shows on comercial television in the first place is to get you to watch the ads.
