Just put on a happy face
Last night my wife, an absolutely pathological fan of musicals (she’s as discriminating about musicals as I am about pizza), was watching Bye Bye Birdie (1963). I accidentally watched a few minutes before realizing that WWE Friday Night Smackdown was on and, as fortune would have it, we own two TVs.
One brief observation: damn, America used to be white.

this has nothing to do with anything. if you haven’t heard it yet, the new Ladytron is pretty good. they cashed in some of their electro-clash for a bit of Curve-like shoe-gaziness. the song “Destroy Everything You Touch” is fantastic.
