ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y., Sept. 9, 2004 — The Russell J. Jandoli School of Journalism and Mass Communication at St. Bonaventure University has added Dr. Samuel R. Smith, associate professor of journalism/mass communication, to its faculty.

“Dr. Smith is a most welcome addition to the J/MC faculty,” said Lee Coppola, dean of the School of Journalism/Mass Communication. “He brings the professional and academic credentials that make our program stand out, and I have no doubt our undergraduate and graduate students will benefit from his expertise.”

Smith will split his teaching duties between undergraduate students at St. Bonaventure and the journalism school’s Integrated Marketing Communications program at the University’s Buffalo Center at Hilbert College in Hamburg.
