Ms. Wheelchair stripped of title for standing up
APPLETON, Wisconsin (AP) — Ms. Wheelchair Wisconsin has been stripped of her title because pageant officials say she can stand — and point to a newspaper picture as proof.
Fine – interesting enough human interest kind of story, I suppose.
But I found in the CNN.com top stories section. I was going to pull a list of stories that are apparently less important, but jesus, what’s the point.
So, fuck CNN. What’s my new default home page going to be?

I use google. It loads fast, good jumping point.
A friend of mine uses Yahoo for the same reason.
Yeah, CNN sucks. Lately I’ve just looked at it the way I look at covers of the tabloids in the grocery store checkout lanes.
Yeah, CNN DOES suck. Any of the infotainment channel sites will be that way. I use netzero, but often find myself on yahoo, especially for the tech news (no thanks to you, LP). Overall, it is a good place for minimal information.
