Just traded some correspondence with my buddy O-Ring. Subject of my sitch came up. Here’s part of what I said:
We’re plowing ahead here. My head has done a full 540 in the last year, and I now find myself sort of actively revolting against so much I thought was part of my encoding. When you think you know who you are and what you need to be doing, and you dump a decade or more into getting to the point where you can actially do it, and then you find out that – DOH! – you were completely wrong, it has an impact on your sense of certainty. What can you honestly say you really know anymore?
