Okay, here’s where I need some help. I’ve been studying a map of the US, and I even consulted Wikipedia. Best I can tell, Texas is part of the United States, right?

As I recall, that little dustup didn’t begin with America invading itself, exactly.
In this case they’d just argue that it was their vigilance and public info campaign that forced Obama to back off. Win-win.
