Nice shot. Bit of a chuckle to find my old hometown on the front page. A hundred years ago that mill and her sister across the river were the world’s largest single producer of pine lumber products. From fruit boxes to ships’ masts. Sustained four generations of middle class. Today it’s a fu-fu shopping district, sell panties where forty years ago I pulled boards off the green chain.
Yeah, it’s not what it once was. But at least they preserved it.
